For JFX-1631

  1. Firmware version of JFX-1631 must be updated to 1.30 or later. If you use old firmware version, RasterLinkPro5 IP v1.03 cannot print correctly. In this case, please re-install RasterLinkPro5 and use the version which is older than version 1.03.
  2. RasterLinkPro5 requires the following size of PC phsical memory. If PC dose not have enugh memory, printing may fail by memory shortage.
    Minimum physcal memory 2GB
    Recommended physical memory 3GB or higher
    (*Note: Windows XP cannot recognize over 3GB memory of PC.)

  1. 1200x1200dpi printing is supported.

Changed function

Following functions for JFX are changed.

Fixed Bugs

Following bugs of JFX is fixed.

  1. Error occured when printing by "Print only".
  2. Printed result might become thin when printing by JFX-8Color.
  3. Problems about composite print of white image and color image. (Only after RasterLinkPro5 IP version 1.01)

Known bugs

RasterLinkPro5 IP version 1.30 has following problems for JFX

  1. Output of RasterLinkPro5 does not happen to stop automatically by "DATA CLEAR"on the printer panel.
  2. When the image is moved to feed direction on RasterLinkPro5, it takes time to start print.
  3. When using vertial shift of image in "Paneling" function, it takes time to complete print.

For JFX-1631

For "JFX-1631", update firmware to ver1.00 or later. If you use old version, RLP5 IP v1.01 cannot print correctly.

Improved Functions

  1. JFX-1631 (firmware version 1.00) is supported. Please get the newest Profile of JFX-1631 with "Profile Updater".

Fixed Bugs

  1. Fixed the issue that "Profile Update" does not work in followng lunguage OS.
    Russian, Polish, French, Czech
  2. Fiexd the issu on "Profile Update" that despite "Do not show installed profile" is checked, all profiles are shown in following lungage OS.
    Greek, Turkish.
  3. Fixed the issue that the image is not printed on, "Immediate Print" mode, when the print origin of that image is set to minus direction.
  4. Fixed the issue that "Ink Status" may show incorrect ink type.
