New features added to this version are as follows.
1) Job Management Service（installed separately from RasterLink8 using dedicated installer）
By installing this service, you can create and manage RasterLink8 jobs through
a web browser from a computer other than the RIP PC. This service is a
web-based system that operates within an internal network.
a) Job Management Web
Job List: Displays a list of RasterLink8 jobs on the network, organized by
device.
Output History: Displays a list of jobs output from RasterLink8, organized by
device.
Schedule: RasterLink8 jobs can be scheduled and executed on a per-device basis.
Using QR codes and a barcode reader, you can execute target jobs
without operating RasterLink8 directly.
Launch a web browser and enter one of the following URLs in the address bar.

b) Job Maker Web
Load Template: Automatically loads the templates registered in RasterLink8.
Job Maker: Simply select a template and an image to create RasterLink8 jobs,
even from a computer other than the RIP PC

2) Fluorescent Ink Replacement Function
A new Fluorescent Ink Replacement feature has been added that allows
fluorescent pink ink to be printed in areas where magenta ink would normally be
output, and fluorescent yellow ink in areas where yellow ink would normally be
output. Unlike color replacement, this feature can also replace colors in
raster data.

4) HiFi color printing
It is now possible to print using ICC profile-based color matching
for Vi, Or, Fy, and Fp spot colors.
Hi-Fi color printing is available when a device profile that includes Vi, Or,
Fy, and Fp is selected.

5) Emulation features
Added support for the emulation feature previously available in MPM3, making it
available in RasterLink8.
This feature enables the target printer to emulate and reproduce colors printed
by both third-party and Mimaki printers.
The emulation performance has also been enhanced to support RGB color and gray
balance settings.
6) Environment backup
When RasterLink8 is closed, the environment can be automatically backed up and
saved to a specified folder.
If third-party storage integration (OneDrive or Google Drive) is configured in
PICT, RasterLink8 environment backups can also be automatically saved to the
connected third-party storage.
7) Variable Printing - Arc Shape
Added settings that allow variable text and numbering data to be arranged and
displayed in an arc shape.
Feature improvements are as follows.
1) Cut favorite
Enhanced the feature to allow outer-cut settings to be saved as favorites.
2) Improved printing time estimation
The printing time estimation algorithm has been refined to improve prediction
accuracy.
Drawing time estimates are now also available for flatbed printers.
